We’ll be taking over the Las Vegas Strip Circuit just in time for the Las Vegas Grand Prix. The week before the event, test tracks will be set up on the Circuit to give ordinary, skeptical, people a taste of what it's like to be inside a Waymo without actually being on the open road. A Waymo will circle the track before the race to mark the start of the event.

VR Experience at SXSW
We’ll be making our way to Austin for SXSW 2026 with a popup to show people just how different driving can be with Waymo’s twenty-nine eyes instead of the usual driver’s two. Festival attendees will be able to put on a VR headset, hop behind the wheel of a Waymo simulation, and feel what it's like to be in charge of this driverless car.
